Some Canadian Visa Application Centres around the world are starting to open to the general public.
This means foreigners in these locations will be able to complete their biometrics, which are essential to their applications for work visas and study permits, and permanent residency.
CANADA says they are taking measures to aid in the health and safety of staff and the people who use these services by following the recommendations of the World Health Organization as such the number of people and so services allowed in at these centres may be limited.
Travel restrictions still in effect Currently, only immediate family members of Canadians are exempt from this restrictions, as well as work permit holders who are coming to do an essential service in the country, and students whose study permits were approved before March 18. Everyone else must prove his reason entering Canada is very essential
All travellers to Canada must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival, and be able to demonstrate that they have an adequate quarantine plan.
This process will ease visa processes when the travel ban is finally uplifted so that the surge shouldn’t cause any delay
