Candidates who wish to study at public or private universities should apply to universities through Dagost Union Consultancy. Each college determines its own entry requirements and students who do not have these conditions in Turkey will not be accepted. In general, the students admitted to universities in Turkey demand the following conditions:
Most importantly. Every International student should have a valid passport. The rest of the conditions are listed below
1) After secondary education or high school, there should be an educational diploma and a transcript showing the high school grades, which are considered equivalent to the Turkish high school diploma. This could be GCE or WAEC depending on your country.
2) To get enough points from internationally accepted exams such as GCE, ACT, SAT, or the score requested from Foreign Student Exam (YÖS). This means scores like 2E on the GCE may be considered weak for some schools.
3) Other special admission requirements may vary for each university. These special conditions are announced on the universities’ own websites. Like English Proficiency, A recommendation letter or any other documents the university will see fit.
